My name is Jessica Lopez. Here's a little about me:

I was born in Puerto Rico
I grew up in Miami
I live in Los Angeles
I love my computer


I've been drawing, doodling and being generally crafty since I was five. My earliest memories are of coloring in books and collecting My Little Ponies. Not much has changed. Now I get to color and make pretty things for a living. It's the best!


I truly enjoy putting to work my strength in brand creation, identity and continuity. I've worked creating packaging, advertising, merchandise and collateral and other fun stuff. In the past I've worked with MTV, Big Machine Design, Johnny Cupcakes, X-Large, Evite, Target, Delia*s, Charlotte Russe, Sears, Swork Coffee, and others.

I have specialized in graphics for the fashion industry for several years now, doing everything from textile design to Art Direction. For the past two years I was the Creative Director at a multi-million dollar junior's clothing company. I recently left the junior's market for greener pastures: Luxury handbags. Now I spend my days designing textiles, collateral and handbags for an amazing company in downtown Los Angeles, and life is good.

Still one of my favorite accolades is for one of my favorite projects with Swork Coffee, when my designs were hailed by the New York Post as "painfully well-designed." Over the years my work has been featured in Nylon Magazine, Beautiful/Decay Magazine, Women's Wear Daily, Die Weineren, Swallowmag.com and more.

I keep myself really busy with a host of projects and I'm constantly creating new stuff. I'm having fun exhibiting in LA and abroad and hope to do loads more this year.
